| I don't think everyone understood what I was writing about. I wasn't trying to make a point that the quote was correct. It was just a quote I found in the newspaper. I wasn't trying to point out a fault in the personalities of girls. I was just commenting on my own experiences in life. In my experiences, there aren't many pretty girls that have the brains to match it, but I'm not saying there aren't any at all. It was an interesting quote I found in the newspaper that I felt was true to 90% of the girls I see. Its not a problem girls have, that wasn't what I was trying to get at. So much heat. And even if I believed that that quote was 100% true, which I don't, I'm still entitled to my own opinion. If you have a different one, that's okay. I'm glad, Ashley Wu, that you know girls who are smart and beautiful and they know it. I'm glad that just because a girl is pretty, it doesn't mean she's shallow, Ashley Lin. I'm just saying in seeing all the girls I come in contact with everyday at school, I rarely see a girl with both. I have yet to see a good looking girl who is popular, goes out with friends every friday night, goes to clubs, and shops relentlessly at Hollisters, and still is deep and intellectual. Or maybe it's just because I like in a rich white neighborhood and that's how white people are. Fucking Smithtown. Fucking Long Island actually. |

Beautiful girls that I know couldn't give a damn about the stars, or about life in general. They live the fast paced life filled with glamour and lust. Hell, they wouldn't even care to read this shit journal. Smart girls aren't beautiful, wish they were. I think some smart girls are very beautiful, although the rest of the world does not. |
